Flood

Usually I enjoy surprises. but this morning i woke up to the tune of 2 inches of water in my 2ND floor apartment. Yeah. Apparently we had a typhoon last night and my windows were left open and my porch flooded and water poured in! thankfully there was no damage but my living room and balcony was literally a swimming pool. I spent a few hours this morning scooping up water and throwing it over the porch while using a squeegee to get rid of the water in the bed room kitchen and living room. The rice fields were flooded as well they were under a good 2 feet of water and it was actually pretty to look at. each terrace had a waterfall and behind them was a beautiful rainbow reminding me that God said he would never again flood the whole world.. he didn't make any promises about my apartment. go figure! Well the house needed to be cleaned anyways.
