running from the police and killing cobras

Okay so did i get your attention?
Yesterday was quite an exciting day. As you might have guessed. The police came to do an inspection of the school and orphanage or so we thought. We had a program prepared for then but when the got here all they wanted to do was accuse the orphanage of kidnapping kids. Which is just crazy. But anyways they borough two kids who we had never seen before and said that we kidnapped them. Only problem is that the kids stories didn't line up and after long ordeal they said that the police had threatened them and told them what to say. Then the police/ prosecutor immediately took the same kids and left. So we are praising God for his protection of the orphanage. But please also pray for the kids who were being threatened by the police. The police are after money and corruption is the norm here not the exception. That's the short version. I'm still trying to figure it out since I don't speak Tagalog but i am being tutored now so i understand a little.

Right after the police and all the attorneys left we found a cobra in the gym. And a few of the staff killed it. I latter found out that they actually killed 4 cobras yesterday afternoon. Oh and by the way I took the boys camping last night in the soccer field by the school. Needless to say we ended up all sleeping in my apartment! Well that's about all the excitement for now.
